Gambellara DOC is a white wine from Vicenza Province, Soave’s eastern neighbour, in the Veneto region of north-east Italy. It is named after the eponymous town. Gambellara’s dry whites are based on the Garganega grape, and are similar in style to Soave (David Gleave, 1989, p.74). ‘Recioto’ is also made.
