Where grownEmilia Romagna: Fogarina grows mainly around the hamlets of Guastalla and Gualtieri, around Modena. It can be included in Reggiano DOC. plus Ravenna Rosso IGT, Forlì IGT, and Rubicone IGT.

Viticulture | Fogarina is a very vigorous and productive variety. It has medium sized bunches and berries

Wine style | Fogarina wines are characterized by good color and extremely high acidities and so were historically used in blends to add color, lower pH values, and increase aroma.
