Denela is red wine grape variety native to Italy where it is found in the Valle di Montorio and in the Val Squaranto in Verona province in the Veneto region. Its small thick-skinned berries comprise very compact bunches and despite only moderate vigour Denela is susceptible to bunch rot (Botrytis cinerea).
