Colognole is an area within the Chianti Rufina DOCG in the commune of Pontassieve in the Province of Florence, Tuscany, Italy.

Terroir: The Colognole terroir comprises what Dr Ian d’Agata (2019: p.285) calls is the southern sector of the area running from Dicomano in the north to Colognole itself. Compared to Dicomano the Colognole area is less extreme weather-wise, more open topographically and luminous and with slightly sandier soils, he says, adding that the wines combine both flesh and acidity.

Wineries: Colognole.
