Colcimino | Sub-area in the commune of Bevagna, south of Bevagna itself, in the Montefalco region of Umbria. Vineyards are found at 300-400m. Villa Mongalli is at 371m for example.

Terroir | Dr Ian D’Agata (2019, p268) describes the terrain as poor, mainly marly arenaceous soils that drain so well it means hydric stress is a risk, and ripening can be the earliest in the denomination. The best wines, D’Agata says, are especially elegant, but lesser wines appear stretched.

Wineries: Adanti. | Villa Mongalli.
