CITRA is a co-operative winery in the Abruzzo region of Italy. 

Size: 7,000 hectares (17,290 acres) of vines, a huge area that covers almost the entire province of Chieti, running north-to-south for 50-56 miles (80-90 km), and for 25 miles (40 km) between the Adriatic sea to the east, and inland to the west. The climate is influenced by the Adriatic Sea and the Gran Sasso, central Italy’s highest peak.

Red wines: Montepulciano d’Abruzzo DOC.
