Cisterna d’Asti DOC is a red wine denomination in the Piedmont (Piemonte) region of Italy. The DOC was granted in 2002 and is named after the commune of Cisterna d’Asti. The wine is made from 80-100% Croatina and an optional 0-20% other permitted red grapes. Riserva and Superiore designations are permitted.
