Château Malartic Lagravière is an estate winery in Léognan in the Pessac-Léognan AOC on the left bank of the Bordeaux region.

Owner: It was owned by Jacques Marly (who was advised by Emile Peynaud). Then it belonged to Champagne Laurent Perrier. They sold in 1997 to Alfred-Alexandre Bonnie, a 57 years old Belgian businessman and his wife is Michèle. Benoît Prévoteau was made Vineyard Manager and Philippe Garcia, Cellar Master. Jean-Jacques Bonnie joined the team in early 2003 as General Manager. His wife Séverine handled marketing and communication. In 2006, the eldest daughter Véronique took the financial & administration part in charge and her husband Bruno, the Argentine commercial part from 2010. Véronique and Jean-Jacques are co-owners since 2013. Michel Rolland was chosen as consultant oenologist and assists the new team since the beginning to make wines which would be powerful and complex, fine and elegant.

The château: A square stone house. 

Vineyards: One of the best sites in the Pessac-Léognan AOC, a plateau (‘croupe’) of well-exposed gravel.
