Château La Rousselle is located in La Rivière, a commune in the Fronsadais on the right bank of the Bordeaux region. It produces red wines under the Fronsac AOC. The estate dates from the 18th century.

Owner: It belonged to Jacques (Ingenieur Agronome, Montpellier, and a specialist in plant medicine, not to be confused with herbal medicine) and Viviane Davau since 1971. It is now owned by Vincent Lemaitre.

Vineyards: 23 hectares. Near Château Monconseil. On a clay-limestone plateau. South-facing. Overlooking the Dordogne. 75 metres. In 1996: 3.5ha (used to be 12ha), planted around the house, over sandstone quarry shafts, on the highest ground in the commune. 60% Merlot, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Cabernet Franc.
