Château La Louvière is an estate winery in Léognan in the Pessac-Léognan AOC on the left bank of the Bordeaux region.

Owner: Acquired by the late André Lurton in 1965.

Vineyards: Château La Louvière is favourably sited between Château Haut-Bailly and Château Carbonnieux. It is one of the great chateaux of the region, devised in the 18th-century by François Lhote. The vineyard was replanted from 1965 upon acquisition by André Lurton. Cabernet Sauvignon (66%), Merlot (20%) and Cabernet Franc (14%) are planted (37 ha) mainly on gravel, with limestone and silica. It comes from 18 ha of hand-picked Sauvignon Blanc (85%) and Semillon (15%). Hand picking.

Winery: In 2005 André Lurton installed a Tribaies machine at Château La Louvière (see also Château Rochemorin) for the 2005 harvest, to sort mechanically harvested grapes.
