Château Gombaude-Guillot is an organic  Biodynamic estate in Pomerol on Bordeaux’s right bank. Red wines are made under the Pomerol AOC.

Vineyards: Château Gombaude-Guillot has 8 hectares in the centre of the Pomerol AOC, in the heart of the Pomerol plateau, near the church. | 2003 8ha. | 2005 8ha.

Red wines

Pomerol AOC, Cadet de Gombaude: 2001 High percentage of Cabernet Franc, clean nose, bit loose (Millésime Bio 2004).

Pomerol AOC, Château Gombaude-Guillot: Softer winemaking style since 1993. | 2001 75% Merlot, 25% Cabernet Franc. 50% new oak. Not bad, but dry, a sign of a lack of selection at picking (Millésime Bio 2004). | 2001 Light and a bit green (Millésime Bio 2006). | 2003 A bit thick and lacking elegance at MB 2006.

Pomerol AOC, Château Gombaude Guillot Cuvée Spéciale: Special cuvée aged in 100% new oak. 1985, 1988 and 1989.

Pomerol AOC, Clos Plince: 2001 Not bad, but rather dry tannin (Millésime Bio 2004). | 2002 Cheese and pepper (Millésime Bio 2006). | 2003 Vegan suitable. Light and baked (Millésime Bio 2006). | 2004 A bit dry (Millésime Bio 2009).
