Casa de Si is a winery in the mountain village of Acered in the Calatayud region of Spain. It was created by Australian winemaking husband and wife team Sarah Morris and Iwo Jakimowicz. Their Australian winery Si Vintners is located in the Margaret River. They studied viticulture and oenology at Curtain University in Western Australia, gained hands-on winemaking experience and then established Casa de Si in 2011. Since then they have purchased a number of small vineyards in Calatayud, an arid region known for its Grenache Noir (‘Garnacha Tinta’). See also Paco & Co.

Viticulture: ‘The vineyards are farmed 100% organic/biodynamic,'(http://www.casa-de-si.com retrieved 1st Jan 2019).

Certification: I emailed the owners in June 2018 for clarification of their organic or Biodynamic certification, and had no response (as of April 2021).

Winemaking: No fining or filtration.
