Carr Taylor Vineyard is located in Hastings in East Sussex, a county in south-east England, United Kingdom. David Carr Taylor began planting in 1974, and the first wine was made in 1976, an unusually (for England) long, hot summer. The estate won the Gore-Brown Trophy in 1988 for a traditional method sparkling wine made from Kerner and Reichensteiner.
