Carpineto Chianti Classico is an estate in Località Dudda in Greve in Chianti in the Chianti Classico DOCG region of Tuscany owned by Carpineto which see for its other estates in Tuscany.

Vineyards: In Dudda, a locality in Greve in Chianti. At 300 metres above sea level (1,000 feet), at the eastern edge of the Chianti Classico region lays the original site of the winery in a location known for centuries as Carpineto. Today the estate hosts the administrative and winemaking headquarters of the company. The modern, multi-level buildings are surrounded by 8 hectares (20 acres) of dry farmed Chianti Classico DOCG vineyards. These are planted on steep hillsides to Sangiovese and Canaiolo grapes. The winery contains dozens of stainless steel, temperature controlled storage and fermentation tanks, sparkling wine production equipment as well as presses, and bottling equipment of the latest generation. Below the refrigerated finished goods warehouse there is a large aging cellar excavated below the valley floor. At a naturally constant temperature of 15-17°C (58-62°F), this is Carpineto’s bottle aging cellar where at any given time about one million bottles of wine lay aging for a period ranging from 4/6 months to over 5+ years before release. Next to this bottle ageing cellar and also underground is the barrel room housing about 1,000 barrels.
