Capannelle is an estate winery in Gaiole-in-Chianti in the Chianti Classico DOCG region of Tuscany, Italy. The winery was established by Raffaele Rossetti in 1975. In 1997 it was taken over by James Sherwood, president and principle shareholder of Orient Express Hotels and also of Sea Containers.
Vineyards: 15 hectares of mainly Sangiovese plus Colorino Nero, Canaiolo and Malvasia Nera.
45° Anniversario Brut: 100% Chardonnay.

Chianti Classico DOCG Riserva, Capannelle: 2015 100% Sangiovese. Nice depth, clear red fruit, a touch of over-extraction (Anteprima 2019). | 2016 100% Sangiovese.
Chianti Classico DOCG Gran Selezione, Capannelle: 2013 100% Sangiovese.
Toscana Rosso, Solare: 2013 80% Sangiovese, 20% Malvasia Nera.
Toscana Rosso, 50 & 50: A (now defunct) project between Capanelle and the then owners of the Avignonesi winery in the Montepulciano region of Tuscany.
