Owner: Remo Giannelli, and his son Dott Stefano Giannelli (339.7682520) who is an agronomist. Remo bought the estate in 1997 when there were 5ha. He added another 5ha of vines, and the winery. Remo also owns I Mori in Chianti.

Estate vineyards: 10ha. North-west of Montalcino at 350-400 metres. West-facing hill slopes. Slopes and terraces. Mainly galestro (clay-schist).
Winemaking: Hand picked.
Rosso di Montalcino DOC, Canneta: 2012 7,460 bottles. 100% steel. Nice bright modern without being too soulless, mid-weight, good entry-level Rosso (Anteprima 2014). | 2013 7,090 bottles. Sweet, bright polished, a bit tanky but OK (Anteprima 2015).
Brunello di Montalcino DOCG, Canneta: 2000 Neutral, a bit dry and evolved (Anteprima 2005). | 2009 70,600 bottles. 2 years in Slavonian botti. Clean savoury cherry, well put together (Anteprima 2014). | 2010 69,330 bottles. Nice sweet fruit, well done, drinkable and fresh style, bit anonymous but good (Anteprima 2015).
Brunello di Montalcino DOCG Riserva: 2008 2,520 bottles.
