Calvi dell’Umbria is a commune in the Province of Terni in the central Italian region of Umbria, located about 50 miles (80 kms) south of Perugia and about 12.4 miles (20 km) southwest of Terni. The area was inhabited in Roman times, but developed as an urban centre only in the High Middle Ages.
