Brissac-Quincé a town and commune in the Anjou district of the Loire Valley region of western France. Noted for its 16th century castle, Brissac-Quincé was created in 1964 from a regrouping of two former neighbouring communes, Brissac and Quincé. Administratively it fell within the Maine-et-Loire department and gave its name to the Anjou-Villages-Brissac AOC red wine. On 15 December 2016, Brissac-Quincé was merged into a new commune called Brissac Loire Aubance which see.
