Bonny Doon, winery in the Santa Cruz Mountain AVA in California founded in 1983 by Randall Grahm specialising in Rhône-style wines made from Rhône grape varieties. He also worked with Italian varieties. In early 2020 Grahm sold the estate to WarRoom Ventures for an undisclosed sum.

White wines

Chardonnay: After Chardonnay became so ubiquitous Randall coined the ‘just say no to Chardonnay’ phrase. His called final vintage with the grape in 1991 ‘Fin de Ligne’. 

Red wines

Le Cigare Volant: The flagship wine, a Grenache, Mourvedre and Syrah Rhône-style blend named after a 1954 French by-law prohibiting UFOs from landing in the vineyards of Châteauneuf-du-Pape. From 2018 Cinsault replaced the Mourvèdre to lighten the wine in line with consumer trends.
