Blauburger is a red wine grape crossing of Blauer Portugieser and Blaufränkisch made in 1923 by Friedrich Zweigelt at the Klosterneuburg Institute in Austria where it is mostly found in Niederösterreich or Lower Austria. Also found in Hungary and Germany.

Wine style: Deep colour, light-bodied.
