Asti DOCG is a 100% Moscato Bianco (‘Moscatello’) white wine made in various styles from the Astigiano region of Piemonte (Piedmont), Italy, particularly focused around the towns of Asti and Alba. The denomination dates from 1967 as a DOC. It became a DOCG in 1993. In 2004 was Italy’s largest producing appellation.
