Abrusco is a minor red grape variety native to Italy. It may also be referred to as Raverusto. It is found in Tuscany, mainly around Florence and Pisa. It is used mainly as a blending variety in the Alta Valle del Greve IGT, Val di Magra IGT or Costa Toscana denominations.

The vine: Medium small bunch and berries. It is both vigorous and very disease resistant.

The wine: Even deeper in colour and more tannic than Colorino di Valdarno.
