Château Magondeau is located in Saillans in the Fronsadais on the right bank of the Bordeaux region. Red wines are made under the Fronsac AOC. An inscription in the cellar dates to 1878.  The wines are bottled as either Château Magondeau and Château Magondeau Beau-Site.

Owner: Dany and André Goujon, and their son Olivier (SCEV Vignobles Goujon et Fils). André’s father Henri took over the estate in 1933. André succeeded him in 1964, and moved from bulk to bottled wines.

Vineyards: 10ha. Clay-limestone.

Winery: On the banks of small port of Saillans on the Isle river.
