Weingut Matthias Warnung is a family-owned organic winery in the Kamptal region of Austria. Ernst is the father of Matthias whois making brighter and more precise wines (my impression at the Real Wine Fair 2016.)

Vineyards: 10 hectares. Grüner Veltliner, Riesling and Zweigelt.

Organic certification: 2019 First vintage with full organic certification.

Winemaking: 100% hand picked. All wines are fermented spontaneously and unfiltered. Minimal sulphur is added prior to bottling.

Grüner Veltliner, Esper:

Grüner Veltliner Feldspiel: A skin contact white. | 2013 From loess and brown loess. 35 year old vines. 14 days on skins. 12m in steel. 15 ppm sulfites. Very nice texture (Real Wine Fair 2016).

Grüner Veltliner, Feldstuck: Grüner Veltliner. Skin-Fermented.

Riesling Berg, Skin Contact: 2013 Bottled.
