Reggiano DOC, formerly Lambrusco Reggiano (until 1996) is a red wine made in both still and sparkling forms in the province of Reggio nell’Emilia in Emiliathe western part of Emilia-Romagna in north-east Italy. The sparkling wine is based on the Lambrusco Marani variety. This area is also known for its parmesan cheese (‘parmigiano reggiano’).
