Margaret River is a region located 200 miles south of Perth in Western Australia. It is noted for Cabernet and Chardonnay, plus Semillom and Sauvignon Blanc, and even Zinfandel. The region has been described as ‘Australia’s equivalent of the Napa Valley’ by Andrew Catchpole of the Daily Telegraph (as reported in Harpers, ‘In the Press,’ 9 May 2003, p.14.)
