L’Orcio a Ca’ di Pesa | Organic estate winery in the commune of Greve in Chianti in the Chianti Classico DOCG region of Tuscany.

Owner | Jonathan Auerbach (from New York) bought the estate in 1999 and in 2005 replanted the existing vineyards.

Organic certification | 2018 In conversion to organic status.

Vineyards | 4 hectares (9.9 acres) of land in total of which 1.5 hectares are vineyards.

Polyculture | Olive trees.

Certification | 2018 First vintage with full organic certification.

Red wines

Chianti Classico DOCG, Ca’ di Pesa  | 2015 The first vintage Mr Auerbach bottled. Made with a cultured yeats. Bright, clear fruit flavours (Anteprima 2018). | 2016 Well made, bright (Anteprima 2018).
