Conte Vistarino is a wine producer in Rocca de’ Giorgi, a commune in the Province of Pavia the Oltrepo Pavese DOC in the in Lombardy (‘Lombardia’) region of Italy about 60 km south of Milan and about 25 km southeast of Pavia. The estate is credited with introducing Pinot Noir to the Oltrepo Pavese in 1850 thanks to Conte Augusto Giorgi di Vistarino. The family residence is the Villa Fornance.

Owner: Ottavia Giorgi di Vistarino. She worked on making site-specific Pinot Noirs from the Percnice, Bertone and Tavernetto crus.

Vineyards: 2018 200ha of vines.

Winery: In 2018 Conte Vistarino built a new ‘Casa del Pinot Nero’ cellar next to Villa Fornace. This is where wines from micro-terroirs are made.
