Bigolona is a rarely found white grape variety grown in the Veneto region of Italy, around Verona, especially in the Illasi valley (Valle d’Illasi) in Verona province. It has traditionally been used with other local varieties to make an air-dried sweet wine (Vin Santo). Typical flavours include citrus, white flowers, sweet spices.

Viticulture: High vigour with poor resistance to Botrytis cinerea as the bunch is compact.
