Alsace Grand Cru Hengst AOC is one of the Grand Cru AOC sites in the Alsace region of north-eastern France. It is located south of the commune of Wintzenheim, near Colmar. The vineyard dates to the 9th century. Among the first owners mentioned are Lazare de Schwendi, a Lord of Haut Landsbourg and a great figure of the Middle Ages in Alsace.
